Remote patient monitoring in maternal health involves using digital tools such as our app, The Journey Pregnancy, to track vital signs, symptoms, and wellness indicatorsduring pregnancy and the postpartum period. This may include blood pressure, weight, fetal movement, mood, and more—collected from home and shared securely with a care team.

Remote Patient Monitoring for maternal health is billable under existing, established CPT codes 99453, 99454, 99457, and 99458. Providers can use these codes to receive reimbursement for setup, data collection, and time spent reviewing patient data for maternal health patients.
